As indicações para o American Music Awards chegaram. Olivia Rodrigo está no topo da lista. O hitmaker “Driver’s License” teve sete indicações no total, o maior número de qualquer artista este ano.

Entre esses sete, Rodrigo é candidata a Artista do Ano, competindo contra potências como Ariana Grande, Drake e BTS. Ela também compete como sua heroína, Taylor Swift. The Weeknd ficou atrás de Rodrigo com seis indicações, incluindo também Artista do Ano.

As novas categorias nas AMAs deste ano são Canção de Viral Favorita, Artista Gospel Favorito e Duo ou Grupo Latino Favorito, que completa a expansão do ano passado das categorias latinas. Existem agora cinco categorias no gênero latino.

Este ano, os AMAs também estão oferecendo uma nova maneira de os fãs votarem. Pela primeira vez, os fãs podem votar em todas as categorias no TikTok pesquisando por “AMAs” no aplicativo.
